HDA has maintained a reputation for a cutting-edge, task-based approach to crisis communications and has developed dozens of site-based and company-wide crisis communications plans across the country. Our crisis communications training stresses that crisis communications is a multi-dimensional process with many keys to success. We teach that successful crisis communications involves much more than doing a perfect television interview. HDA associates also provide crisis communications support for clients during crisis events. HDA’s broad interpretation of a crisis allows for the flexibility to manage multiple scenarios and effectively pre-position and communicate with key audiences. Moreover, HDA offers our clients a multitude of experience in building coalitions with community, business and governmental representatives of emergency management agencies. HDA’s crisis communication strategies are aligned with the Incident Command Structure required by federal agencies in responding to incidents, including oil spills and hazardous chemicals.
